Hulu Desktop App: Comprehensive Setup and Usage Guide

1. Download and Install Hulu Desktop App

Visit the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC.
Search for "Hulu" in the search bar or click the link above.
Click the "Get" button to download and install the Hulu Desktop App on your Windows device.

5. Create and Manage Profiles

Hulu allows you to create multiple profiles for different members of your household.
To create a profile:
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "Manage Profiles".
- Click "Add Profile" and fill in the required details (name, age preferences).
Each profile will have its own recommendations, watch history, and My Stuff list.
You can switch between profiles by clicking the profile icon and selecting the desired user.

6. Add Shows and Movies to My Stuff

My Stuff allows you to save shows and movies to watch later.
To add content to My Stuff:
- Browse or search for the TV show or movie you want to save.
- Click the "+ My Stuff" button next to the title.
To view your saved items, go to the My Stuff tab from the main menu.
You can manage your saved content, removing or reordering it at any time.

7. Download Content for Offline Viewing

Hulu allows you to download select shows and movies for offline viewing if you have a Hulu (No Ads) or Hulu + Live TV subscription.
To download a show or movie:
- Find a title that supports downloads (look for the Download icon).
- Click the Download icon next to the episode or movie you want to save for offline viewing.
Downloaded content can be accessed in the Downloads section of the app and viewed without an internet connection.
You can manage your downloads, including removing downloaded content, from the Downloads section.

8. Use Parental Controls and Kids Profiles

Hulu allows you to set parental controls and create kid-friendly profiles.
To create a kids profile:
- Click on your profile icon and select "Manage Profiles".
- Click "Add Profile", and toggle on the "Kids" setting for child-friendly content.
Kids profiles will only display content rated PG or below, ensuring a safe viewing experience for children.
You can also set PIN-protected parental controls to restrict access to certain profiles or content.

9. Adjust Video Playback Settings

Hulu allows you to adjust video quality settings based on your internet connection or data usage preferences.
To adjust video playback settings:

To access live TV:
- Click on the "Live TV" tab in the main menu.

You can record live TV with Cloud DVR (depending on your subscription) and watch recorded content later.
