If the test completes successfully, SeaTools will display a "Pass" result. If there are issues, it will show a "Fail" result.

5. Fix Drive Errors with SeaTools

If the Long Generic Test detects errors, SeaTools provides an option to attempt to fix them.
To fix detected errors:
- After the Long Generic Test finishes, SeaTools may prompt you to attempt repairs if errors are found.
- Click "Repair" to start fixing the detected errors.
SeaTools will attempt to repair sectors with soft errors, though it may not be able to fix all types of issues.
After repairs, run the Long Generic Test again to ensure that all errors have been resolved.

6. Run a SMART Test

SeaTools includes a SMART Test that checks the drive's built-in health monitoring data.
To run a SMART test:
- Select the drive from the Drive List.
- In the Test Information Area, choose "SMART Check".
- Click "Start" to initiate the test.
The SMART Test quickly reviews the drive's internal health statistics, including temperature, bad sectors, and power cycles.
SeaTools will display a "Pass" or "Fail" result based on the drive's SMART data.

7. Use SeaTools Bootable for Drives Without an OS

SeaTools Bootable is designed for testing drives without needing an operating system.
To use SeaTools Bootable:

- Create a bootable USB drive using the provided instructions.
- Restart your computer and boot from the USB drive (change your BIOS boot settings if necessary).
